9/11 Let no American forget this date!

It is on this date every year now I realize how much closer my son is to his graduation and commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. I have taught him well the importance of this date and the service to this nation.

I pray we all take just a moment today and remember those that were lost and their families. And please support our troops and thank a veteran, for freedom isn't free.

  1. Our troops deserve so much more than a simple thank you. They sacrifice so much for us, and truly understand the meaning of "service".

  2. A lovely tribute and post today...

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

  3. We would like to thank your son!!

    The Klan

  4. What a loving tribute. Many thanks to you son! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  5. There are tributes all over blogland today. We have been crying all morning. God bless you and your family!

    Emma Rose and the Duchess

  6. Very true! My dad is a Viet Nam veteran, and I think the most important thing that we can do is recognize the service of our veterans!

  7. I pray that when your son graduates, all of our soldiers, sailors and Marines will be home and out of harm's way.

  8. What a great tribute.
    Many thanks to your son:)
